American Academy
of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology

AAOMP is the main national organization for oral pathologists in the US. Started in 1946.  Its annual meeting attracts 200-300 members and offers high quality continuing education in all aspects of oral pathology.  Canadian and Mexican oral pathologists can be full members.  The AAOMP offers a Fellowship exam annually.

BSOMP is the main national organization for oral pathologists in the UK.  Started in 1976.  Grew out of the informal Oral Pathology Club, begun in 1967.
