16 year old white male.  Irregular, painless white patch of right lingual dorsum began 4 weeks earlier as a smaller lesion in the center of the present lesion.  The periphery has been expanding ever since, but the patient has scraped off the central region.  A new similar lesion (left dorsum) was first noticed 3 days ago.
