| 38 year old female. White discoloration of the lingual dorsum is relatively uniform and is bilateral. From time to time the patient experiences a "tingling sensation," like "small bubbles popping." Lesion began after a hospital stay for hysterectomy 5 years ago. The whiteness is thicker some days than other days. Patient takes estrogen replacement therapy and has intermittent xerostomia. | |||
